Video Compressor
Shrink a video so it's easier to upload, email or store. Choose a quality level and, optionally, a lower resolution. The output is an MP4 with H.264 video and AAC audio, which plays on iPhone, Android, Windows and Mac.
Your video is uploaded over HTTPS, processed on our server, and deleted automatically: the upload as soon as processing ends, the result 30 minutes after it is ready.

Limitations
- Maximum upload size and length are shown in the upload box. They depend on our current server capacity.
- Processing time depends on the length of the video and how busy the server is. Long videos can take several minutes.
- Already-compressed phone videos may shrink only a little at High quality. Try Balanced or a lower resolution.
- Subtitle tracks and extra audio tracks are not kept; only the first video and audio stream are used.
Need bigger files or batch processing? and we'll consider it for a future paid plan.
Frequently asked questions
How much smaller will my video get?
It depends on the source. Phone videos at 1080p or 4K often shrink by more than half at Balanced quality with 720p resolution. The actual sizes are shown when it finishes.
Will the quality drop?
Compression removes some detail. High quality is visually close to the original; Small trades more quality for a smaller file.
Do you keep my video?
No. The upload is deleted as soon as processing ends, and the compressed file is deleted 30 minutes after it's ready.
Can I compress a TikTok or Instagram video?
Yes. Save it first with our TikTok, Instagram, Facebook or X downloader, then upload the MP4 here. YouTube videos aren't supported.
