Convert Images to WebP
WebP files are usually much smaller than JPG or PNG at similar visual quality, which makes web pages load faster. Convert a whole folder of images at once and download them as a ZIP.
Your images are processed inside your browser and are never uploaded to our servers.
About this tool
Transparency in PNG files is kept, because WebP supports it.

Frequently asked questions
Is WebP supported everywhere?
All current major browsers display WebP. Some older desktop software and some upload forms still don't accept it. Keep your originals.
Is WebP always smaller?
Usually, but not always. The before/after sizes are shown for every file so you can see the actual result.
Does it keep transparency?
Yes. WebP supports transparency, so PNG transparency is kept.
