Limitations

  • A higher bitrate can't improve on the quality of the original audio track.
  • Videos without an audio track are rejected with a clear message.
  • Only the first audio track is used.
  • Maximum upload size and length are shown in the upload box.

Which bitrate should I choose?

128 kbps for speech, 192 kbps for general use, 256-320 kbps for music where quality matters.

Can I convert a YouTube link to MP3?

No. Marukit only processes files you upload. Downloading from YouTube and similar sites is against their terms.

How long does it take?

Audio extraction is fast, usually a few seconds after the upload finishes.
