Compress Image to 200KB

A 200 KB limit is common for document uploads, website CMS fields and email signatures. At 200 KB a typical phone photo can keep good detail at around 1600 px wide, so this tool tries quality first and only reduces dimensions if it must.

Your images are processed inside your browser and are never uploaded to our servers.

Frequently asked questions

What's the difference from the 100KB tool?

Only the target. A 200 KB budget keeps noticeably more detail, so use it whenever the form allows.

Can I keep the exact width and height?

Yes. Turn off 'Reduce dimensions if needed'. If the target can't be reached by quality alone, you'll be told.

Is it really free?

Yes. It runs on your own device, so it costs us nothing to run.
